Key dates for next week:

  • Key dates for next week:
    • Tuesday the 24th of October – Year 1 Athletics Event
    • Friday the 27th of October – Class Assembly for 5A/5V Parents (To view the Class Assembly rota, please click here)

All QBS teachers and education assistants attended professional development training at the end of the week. They joined colleagues from across ESF to consider ways to implement well-being strategies in schools which support students. Looking after the emotional and social development of a student is a valued part of the QBS ethos.

Thank you 3T and 3C students for a fun assembly on Thursday morning. I managed to get lost on my way to the assembly and was helped by the students to make it on time. The students enjoy the opportunity to perform for parents and we appreciate the effort everyone makes to be present at these events.

A reading workshop was held in the Learning Centre Amphitheatre for lower school parents on Thursday morning. Again, there was parental interest and support for this workshop. It is hoped a similar workshop will be held for upper school parents also. Reading is a critical life long skill which is highly valued at QBS.

Thank you to Mr Schroder and Mr Leone for arranging an enjoyable athletics event for the Year 2 students this week. The students were motivated and actively engaged throughout the event. The parental attendance and support was appreciated by all.

I look forward to seeing QBS families at the ESF 50th Birthday Marathon on Sunday.
