As a parent of 3 children in Quarry Bay School, I believe QBS offers the best of both worlds, an international yet local community. With a down-to-earth feel, QBS is a school where academics go hand in hand with happiness, lots of love and enthusiasm and a passion for learning in a variety of ways. QBS is a school that brings out the best in my children no matter their differences and personalities.
I started at QBS in Year 2 and have really enjoyed my time at the school. All of the teachers put a lot of effort, enthusiasm and passion into their teaching and always encourage us to be the best we can be. QBS has helped me to build a good foundation and pathway to Year 7 at my secondary school, South Island School.
It has been a great experience to be part of a dynamic and enjoyable educational community. Dynamic – the members of Quarry Bay School are able to adapt different ways of learning and teaching as modern technology has a big place in our community. Enjoyable – as a student I experience a range of educational opportunities in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.
I always look forward to coming to school – every day is different! It can be challenging supporting such talented teaching staff, and assisting the students with the different aspects of their learning is very rewarding – I constantly feel proud seeing what they can achieve.
