Key dates for next week:
- Thursday 23rd August – Welcome back to QBS evenings
Welcome back to QBS and the new academic year. It has been a settled and positive start this week. It has been lovely to welcome new staff, families and students into our community.
During classroom visits this week I have been pleased to see the students ready for learning and engaged during their lessons. The weather has been quite varied so play breaks have been disrupted. This does not seem to have impacted on the enthusiasm of the students.
Please ensure your child has the necessary equipment for school (eg hats, raincoats, materials for learning if in the upper school). Being organised and managing personal belongings builds a child’s skills for later in their academic life.
Please read the email sent home about communication at QBS. It is a summary of the ways communication takes place at QBS.
The key dates for Term 1 are listed above for your reference.
I look forward to seeing parents in school next Thursday for the Welcome Back to QBS Evening.
