QBS on Facebook

Please be reminded that QBS Facebook page is the school’s main social media platform. If you you haven’t done so already, you can follow QBS learning at https://www.facebook.com/QBSchool

We hope parents enjoy taking a peek into daily learning and life at QBS via this social media platform.

QBS Camp Season

The camp season at QBS has arrived. Over the next six weeks Year 4, 5 and 6 students will be involved in their residential camps. Significant preparation and planning goes into these camps and we have been pleased to welcome parents to the information evenings in recent weeks.

The Year 6 students and staff will depart for their Outward Bound Camp next Monday. Outward Bound is a significant experience for our Year 6 students. Each year I am impressed by the personal growth demonstrated by the students as a result of their experiences on camp.

I will join the Year 5 Camp this year and cannot wait to sleep in my tent! The students may need to help me when it is time to put up my tent. This is one skill I have never fully mastered! I will make trips to see the students at the Year 6 and Year 4 camps also. I always look forward to visiting the students to hear about their adventures.

QBS staff and the camp providers have been in close contact since Typhoon Mangkhut about the impact on the local environments. This close liaison with providers about the QBS camps will continue to ensure our students have a safe and high quality residential camp.

Regards,
MinaD2

Ms Ong taking action – Donation to Philippines in Oct 2018

Through participating in the Philippines Medical Mission over the years, I had seen how the people benefit from it. I hope that I can do something for them. I am taking personal action for this group and would like to collect donations of old/new summer clothes (adults or children), shoes, toys and stationery for them.

It would be collated and shipped through Hope of God Church Hong Kong to Philippines during this Christmas season.

Collection Date : 9-12 Oct 2018
Collection point : QBS Gym (door near to the reception area)

Thank you for your kind support.

Best Regards
Miss Katherine Ong
